OUR STORY
and we’re stickin’ to it...
INTERVAL was formed in 1998. With a relentless attitude and a versatile style the boys have meshed together everything they love musically and accomplished a unique sound that relates to all generations. The listener is immediately struck with a chunky, ear rattling guitar riff accompanied by a gut wrenching drum and bass line moving on to a powerful anthem that will be remembered for days to come. Dedicated and focused, INTERVAL will never surrender and will continue to be a force to contend with.
Currently, INTERVAL is writing new material and will be playing a number of shows in the LA and OC area.
From Now Into The Future . . . INTERVAL is planning to record more material under the record label, BLENDZOL MUSIC. By mid 2007, they are planning to produce, record and distribute a 10-12 song CD in Europe, Japan, and other potential markets around the world.
ALAN SAIDI-(Lead & Rhythm Guitars): Alan grew up in Los Angeles, CA. There is nothing he love’s more than pluggin’ in and turnin’ up the volume!!! His influences comprise of a number of 90’s grunge and Metal and the more recent hard and heavy bands of the present. Alan Started playing in the Band Toxic Joker back in 1998 and then moved on to Crocodile Stepmother, Blendzol and decided to form INTERVAL with Glenn. He love’s Gibson guitars and plays a 67 Flying V, an 83 Les Paul Standard, and an 83 custom Explorer and a Custom Jackson Stealth Performer. Acoustically, He plays Taylors and nothing else. Alan’s rig consists of a Marshall El 34 100x100 Monoblock rackmount amp, a Behringer FBQ1502 Ultragraph PRO with Feedback Detection, Boss GT8 Multi Effects processor & a Bad Horsie Wah.
JOEY VASCO-(Bass Guitars): Joey was born and raised in Da Bronx, NY. It’s no surprise he became a bassist, the way he would listen to music with bass equalizer controls maxed out even when he was a little kid. Joey is influenced by rock, jazz and classical music, but his greatest love for music is hard edged progressive metal. Shortly after moving to SoCal in 2000, Joey met Alan and joined Toxic Joker. When Joey and Alan met Glenn, the band was reformed into Crocodile Step Mother. He left the band for personal reasons in mid ’04, but now Joey is back. Joey is a Rickenbacker bass guitar enthusiast. He feels that Rickenbacker makes the very best bass guitars. His bass rig is SWR.
