Lucky Dollar a virtual stranger to my real self or possibly my real self coming out in a form in which Im is free to have the sense of humour of a 4 year old, the cheekiness of a an 8 year old and the libido of an 16 year old. Since Lucky Dollars formation in 2005, he has already received critical acclaim reaching the finals of the Sunscreen Music Video Awards for his single Pussy Whipped and then becoming the Hip Hop artist of the year in the 2005 MUSICOZ Awards for a collaboration with Aussie Hip Hop Legends Good Buddha. However it was his debut live performance, at the Basement in February 2006, which has left people desperate for more
The Live Show consists of Lucky Dollar on Vocals, Hammond Organ, Clavinet (all whilst triggering Samples and Beats), teamed up with good friend DJ Jack Prest. Together they are captivating, feeding off each others skills and humor to lift the audience to the roof and beyond. This is a power packed dance-funk-comedy-cabaret show
Lucky Dollar (Lachlan Doley) is known as Australias most exciting keyboard player. He has toured and recorded with some of Australias finest including Powderfinger, Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Andy Clockwise, Jade MacRae, and The Hands to name a few. Often compared to John Lord and Keith Emerson for his on stage acrobatics and Herbie Hancock for his seemingly never ending flood of the funk which pours out and saturates everyone in its path. When Lucky Dollars magic hands take complete control over his organ, rest assured the whole crowd is right there with him when he starts to blow
