About Me

i guess i should try and do this by answering the question i always ask other people when i want to know more about them: "what makes you smile?" sunshine, especially on my bare back... solar powered kidneys i reckon ;o) music, good music, the kind that gets under your skin and into your hips so you can't bare sitting still any longer.. movement in general, i find it hard to sit still although it's important for balance (i know!) so i dance, play capoeira, do yoga, run on the beach, go to the gym, climb rocks, ride my bike, walk through the city at 3am smiling at the fairy lights in hyde park... i like touching people, i do massage and i want to be a tactile therapist, i like working with energy to help people... i like writing: poems, songs, stories, letters... i guess i like words... oh and kisses... i LOOOOVE kisses :o) i play saxophone and oboe and recently picked up a guitar (man that's an exquisitely complex instrument)... and i sing a little too... i love food, good food, i am a BIG proponent for the slow food movement. i cook organic, macrobiotic style whole food and help out with my sister's amazing catering business Yummi Yogi :o)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

real people. i like most people but those that i love are the ones that have passion, drive, a lust for living, for feeling and experiencing without turning down the volume or passing themselves through a thousand tiny filters... i like this quote from Nelson Mandela, it reminds me to keep flying: 'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others' What Mythological Creature Are You (Many Results and Beautiful Pics)
Mermaid:Mermaids, similar to Centaurs, have a torso of a human and the body of a fish. You are curious yet reserved in your actions. You like to have fun but never at the expense of others and you never roughouse. You love water and the creature in it and feel it is your job to make sure they stay safe.
