Current Poster - WHITE by Linus Ricard

Don't Panic Online keeps you updated with all the latest music, events, fashion and arts news from all over the UK.

We cover the best upcoming gigs and events with competitions to win tickets and albums.

For artists and designers (aspiring or otherwise) we have monthly design competitions - the winners of which will have their images put into print and distributed all over the world.

GET INVOLVED!DESIGN THE POSTER
How it works

Step 1.

Create a poster based on one of the themes below. Your interpretation of the theme can be rendered using: graphic design, illustration, photography, type or any medium you can think of which we can print.

The winning poster will be printed A2 size (594x420mm) at 300 Dpi. For the purposes of voting and previewing on this website, poster entries uploaded should be:

File Format: JPG or PNG

Resolution: 72 DPI

Max Filesize: 2MB

Your poster entry will be auto-resized proportionatly by us to fit our website. If your poster is chosen as the winner, you will be contacted again to send over a high-res version of it.

Step 2.

Upload your poster to face the public vote.

Step 3.

The poster in each category with the most votes is printed and distributed in the Don't Panic pack. Make sure you upload your poster as soon as possible before the deadline, because the longer it is online the more votes it can receive.

Themes and deadlines

One poster on each theme will be printed, so there will be four winners. You can enter more than one category if you like.

DESIGN THE PACK

How it works
Step 1.
Create a pack design based on one of the themes below. Your interpretation of the theme can be rendered using: graphic design, illustration, photography, type or any medium you can think of which we can print on the pack. Furthermore, all pack entries should adhere to the design
Design Guidelines:
* Design - You must include the word FREE prominently on your design. You must also include the Don't Panic Logo or a space for it.
* Colors - Your entry should ideally consist of two colors, solid black and white but grayscale images are also allowed. Entries that do not follow this will be automatically disqualified.
* Image Size - Entry image must also be perfect square at 72dpi resolution only. Failure to do so may result in possible problems in submitting or displaying your entry. Your entry will be automatically resized to fit with the dimensions of the website.
* File Size - Entry image file must be below 1MB in size as this is just for web viewing purposes only.
* Description - In addition to your pack design entry, you are also required to write a short paragraph (500 characters max) detailing how your entry is related to the theme you are entering
Step 2.
Upload your pack to face the public vote.
Step 3.
The winning pack design in each category will be printed and distributed throughout the Don't Panic network. Winning pack design are either judged from the top 10-20 designs or the pack design with the most votes. This changes for each competition theme. Make sure you upload your entry as soon as possible before the deadline, because the longer it is online the more votes it can receive.
