As a DJ, Hapa's versatility is unmatched. The combination of his energy and skills on the turntables and mic has allowed him to rock crowds in the hottest night clubs across the world from Club Mix at the top of THE Hotel in the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, to Edge (Hong Kong), to Plaza of Nations (Canada), and Mood (Hollywood, CA). His knowledge of all genres of music has given him the opprotunity to spin at exclusive VIP and private parties for the likes of Carmello Anthony, Reebok, Ford Cars, the NBA All Star Game (2005). With his love for sexy music, Hapa also has the ability to bring a chill vibe to more laid-back atmospheres, including DJing for Hidden Beach Recording's, Unwrapped jazz band. You can also find Hapa DJing for up and coming artists Far East Movement, Watts City's STIX, and HeadHunter's DOUBLE F.
Hapa has displayed his wide-ranging style on numerous other occasions, including touring with the 2004 Rock the Vote Tour, and opening up for the likes of Common, Jon B, Doug E. Fresh, Musiq Soulchild, and Snoop Dogg, to name a few.
Coming up on 10 years of djing in 2006, Hapa has found the ultimate way to give back to the community and culture that has given him so much. In January 2005, Hapa helped to open the infamous Scratch DJ Academy out in Los Angeles to tie the DJ community closer together and to educate the masses on the artform. Having taught over 400 students alone in 2005, Scratch LA is on pace to teach almost double that in 2006!
