My World Visitor Map!
I'm originally from the Washington, DC area and I moved to Raleigh in October 2007 for the following reasons:
- The melodic metal scene in Raleigh
- Grad school (at some point - NC State)
- I fell in love
- Cheaper cost of living
I'm a natural extrovert who loves to spread the energy onto others. I am also very secure and confident of myself, but I don't think of myself as superior to or above anyone else. I like to meet like-minded people who are motivated to meet their goals and open their minds. I live my life without the fears of the freefall of life. I don't get offended or angry at much, but I do treat people the way they treat me. If you're nice to me, I will be twice as nice to you. But if you're an ass with me, I will be twice the ass in return.
Music is the root of my being. I've been playing music since I was 5 years old, so I cannot remember any part of my life without it being there, as an artist. I am into anything that involves art in general, and I feel that there is an art to everything in life because we are what we express. I'm also a philosopher and psychologist at heart, who doesn't see in black and white. I'm an avid animal lover and I have an affinity with nature. To pay the bills and support my art and other hobbies, I'm a Systems Support Engineer (that's I.T. for those of you who aren't familiar with office environments) at a big pharmaceutical company here in the Raleigh area.
My biggest pet peeve is willful ignorance. Everybody is ignorant to a certain degree, as no one knows everything, but to willfully remain boxed-in and narrow, irritates and angers me.
