being in weird and wonderful places, people with something about them, live music, films, art, books, thinking, talking bollocks, laughing, all day Sunday pub sessions, dancing until dawn, new experiences, new environments, new people, shoes, swearing, cooking, eating, restaurants
If you love music, make me laugh, really think, or you know how to have a brilliant time in a previously unthought of or random way, I'll probably be your friend for life.this week: other people who have spatial-sequence synesthesia.

some stuff you'll think is cool and some stuff you'll think is shit. I try not to watch too much and sometimes I win. Sometimes I think NO. TV IS GOOD. mostly just after a really good Family Guy episode but you can get that on DVD anyway. Curb Your Enthusiasm is amazing, I've discovered though that if you watch too many episodes in a row you turn into Larry, which is both terrifying and beautiful at the same time. I'm a shameless Channel 4 WHORE and not just because they pay me to be.
Iain Banks, but esp. Consider Phlebas (Jeremy, if you read this, can I have my signed copy back please), The World According To Garp, The Thought Gang, A Prayer for Owen Meany, Journey to The End of The Room, All Families are Psychotic, most stuff by John Irving, 7 Pillars of Wisdom, Catch 22, anything by Paul Auster, The War of Don Emanuel's Nether Parts and both sequels, Rendezvous with Rama, Down and Out in Paris and London, Sirens of Titan, Philip K Dick, Carter Beats The Devil, George Orwell
T.E. Lawrence, Johnny Cash, Emmeline Pankhurst, Dolly Parton, Jon Snow, Bill Hicks
