Mili Nair (Vocals)
A singer trained in Western and Indian Classical Music, Mili is a stylistically diverse vocalist. Interested in, and influenced by Jazz, Soul, R&B and Classic Rock she has performed live extensively. Mili has a First Concert Certificate and Grade 8 from the Trinity College of London and is currently studying Hindustani classical music.
The Band is a coming together of artistes from the musically fertile southern Indian cities of Chennai and Bangalore to create a new live sound that is inspired by deep musical passions; while being informed by diverse musical styles and experiences.
Built on the solid ground of training and technique, the Band’s sound mixes jazz improvisations and rock rambles with sincere soul, classical correctness and plain old pop pleasure to bring you music that is experimental in approach and exciting in its impact.
Keith Peters (Bass Guitar)
A musician synonymous with the instrument he plays, Keith Peters is one of India’s leading bass players. Though working extensively with A.R Rehman, Keith has, over the years, brought his diverse musical styles and signature sound to projects with Dr. L Subramaniam, Zakir Hussain, U Srinivas, Charlie Mariano, Billy Cobham, Derico Watson, Ranjit Barot, Louis Banks, Pt. Hari Prasad Chourasia, Ganesh Kumaresh, Kadri Gopalnath, Rama Mani, Sivamani and Amit Heri.
With a string of live commitments and hectic studio schedules, Keith Peters is one of busiest artistes on the Indian music scene.
Donnan Murray (Guitars)
A musician of immense talent and intense commitment, Donan Murray is an adept and exciting musician with a history of playing Jazz, Rock and Pop. A music producer with a series of albums and advertisement jingles to his credit, Donnan has played guitar with numerous bands including V6, Juravi and Nemesis Avenue - some of Chennai's most popular rock bands in the mid 1990s.
A singer with a strong sense of harmony, Donnan has also been singing and arranging vocals for regional films for the last five years. An active recording and performing musician, Donnan’s passion for original and experimental music has him composing, producing and performing alternative music.
HAMESH M H (Drums)
A self taught percussionist and musician, as well as an advertising professional, Hamesh divides his time between film and collaborating with musicians of repute from India and the world over.
As a musician, he has played with Amit Heri, Kristina Fuchs, Holger Jetter, Barbara Wiernik, Asaf Rabi, Prasanna, Ganesh and Kumaresh, Sandeep Chowta, Keith Peters, Karl Peters, Sumith Ramachandran, and Ravichandra Kulur to name a few. Hamesh is a student of Carnatic rhythm concepts under the legendary TAS Mani of the renowned Karnataka College of Percussion, and also is a student of Skip Hadden, Professor of Percussion at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA.
His film production company is called Apostrophe, and has produced ‘Flying in a Blue Dream’, a documentary on Joe Satriani’s 2005 India Tour, released worldwide by SONY Music and Epic Records.
