Band Members: Two identical characters that not only look alike but also think alike, with musical minds that are highly innovative, inspiring and exciting, welcome to the phenomenon of the Kray Twinz. UK born producers, the Twinz dedicated much time and effort in perfecting new beats and breaks that were by far too advanced for their time.The Twinz played on the Bhangra Dj circuit ferociously, in which their sets ignited dancefloors all over the UK, playing exclusive material other Dj's found difficult to match.They became a flagship name touted by the UK Bhangra industry. By Co producing with Panjabi MC, the result being "Mudian Te Bach ke" a UK No.5 chart smash which then went on to receive worldwide recognition and fame, they have brought Asian music to the attention of the general public.Immediately a demand for the two had Bhangra labels hunting to sign them thereafter.It was only a matter of time before they were unleashed onto the mainstream. They are masters of integrating the traditional aspects of Indian sounds into western concepts, making each concept or track extremely danceable and unique.
Influences: The Kray Twinz started to make waves within the American music industry, with many successful and recognised recording artists eager to be the first with these new sounds and rythmns, the list is already impressive: Hip hop and rap pioneers Pharcyde have recently completed a track for their forthcoming album.Award winning dancehall artists Ce'cile and Mr. Vegas are currently in the studio with the Twinz.
