She has been influenced by many singers including Howard Smith, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway and many others. Her voice has been described as sweet, smooth and melodic. She not only sings, she also enjoys writing and has done vocal arrangements for different artists. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and has lived in many states and is currently living in California. She has worked with many artists and groups including: Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, The Fred, Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams tour, Kim Rutherford, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Tevin Campbell, Daniel Winans, Mitchell Jones, Terrell Carter, Damita Haddon, Deitrick Haddon, Chaka Khan and others.
