About Me

Let me answer your first question. If it isn't blaringly obvious that we know each other, then no...you don't know me. I add people a lot because I like knowing a lot of people. I'm always up to know what's up in different parts of the world and even different parts of my world. People fascinate me, and I say what better really quick and easy way to meet tons of people of different walks of life than something like myspace? So yeah, you don't know me...but maybe you should. I've been told I give a good back rub..by many hairy men with evil intentions. I can hold a good conversation...until I drop it...which is easy...because those bastards are slicker than somebody who works in marketing for Axe. One time I saw this 40 year old dude with a very obvious wedding ring in Walmart with his kid hitting on an Axe girl while she was very obviously uncomfortable with the situation but mysteriously not ignoring him and I thought that was the best statement in physical form of the nature of Dallas, Texas and its surrounding area that I have ever seen.
"I been beat up bad
I been kicked around
I been thrown outta every damn bar
in this old town
in this old town"
Hank 3
Between my two jobs I sell books, CDs, plants, hardware, soil, lumber and concrete to more different kinds of people than I ever imagined. I like carrying around scraps of paper to jot random words down. My vest pockets are full of them. I was taught to write properly somewhere in college, but proper never interested me much. I like the smell of clove cigarettes just about as much as the taste on a cold morning. I drink altogether too many energy drinks and fear I am developing a catlike dependence on taurine. I once used the phrase "ejaculation of blood" on an essay back in college, and I think the prof actually dug it. I guess that was better than when I titled an essay "Thoreau-in Down", though. I can't really stay on topic very well, and I really like terrible action/grossout movies. I'm a Troma boy at heart, lookin for the right Tromette. Ok, maybe not. I think the world is much more hopeless since Divine, Walter Matthau and Rodney Dangerfield and James Brown left it. More so from when my granddad left it however. And my kung fu master(I'm not that good at it, but he taught me to be better at life certainly if nothing else). God rest both of their souls. I don't have a problem saying "God rest" anyone's soul. I'm not a fan of people with oppositional behavior problems, because everyone else is.
I have a friend who doesn't think Ian Curtis was an asshole even after he watched Control. He is not my smartest friend. =)
"Marijuana is like a coors beer, if you could buy it at a filling station in Plains, Georgia, you wouldn't want it." -The Late Great Billy Carter.
I'm a cat who slept and ate too much and then forgot somehow why he wanted to do it until it was too late. But at least I'm not that curious.
A common question:
Why do you not prominently display your personal photos?
Because I feel that it doesn't display me as well as posting graphical representations that I found touching to my deepest soul. That and I'm not that attractive. Ok, maybe the latter has more to do with it than the former. The former sounds better. And the word former makes me think of Voltron, which although I did not particularly like, I was fascinated of the idea of people in badass vehicles that connected to make something more badass kickin ass. Lots of ass in that last sentence.
At any rate, for a last bit of attention whoring. I have a "music" page up here on my space. It may not fit the conventional definition of music...but it's certainly umm...opinionated. There we go. That's an adjective.

My Interests

What failed new wave artists do to support themselves, characters, 7-11, slightly stale Krispy Kremes

I'd like to meet:

The good souls. The sleepy kind with jugs of cheap wine. God that sounded like one of Ginsberg's drippier poems. I'm a fan of people with something to say that aren't making any money OR friends off of saying it. I'm a fan real people who do real things. I'd like to meet a smokejumper some day...and an Indian tracker.

You'll be smug to anything. This makes me think of an adult version of MSI's CD "You'll Rebel to Anything".  I don't know why this wonderful nugget of thought came out.  But it got me to thinking about...

I'd like to fill a bullet with profound quotes torn to shreds and fire it off into the desert.  But I don't know how to fill bullets.  The bullet probably wouldn't work, and why'd I pick profound quot...

Ohh yeah, I forgot to mention why my car is totally FoxtrotUniformCharlieKilo'd in my last post, so I figure I'll devote some more of my precious non-work time to that one.  For some reason, for the p...

My car is officially the worst sort of Charlie Foxtrot.  Ok, so maybe it's not that bad.  Yesterday I accidentally sent a delivery driver to Sanger instead of where he was supposed to go, and I though...

Sometimes I wonder if the fact that I haven't heard the word big shot or hot shot used derogatorily(or even at all) in a long time reflects a societal tendency towards accepting pretense.  It doesn't ...
