I am on my second career track as an artist who specializes in free hand drawing in MS Word with the help of my ever loyal and faithful mouse. My creations are always printed in gallery quality heavyweight paper using archival inks. On the other hand, I am not beyond painting on canvas with acrylics, or drawing on textured paper using oil and chalk pastels. I also dabble in felting, creative writing, and folk art painting.

Maria Cristina is an artist illustrator who specializes in free hand drawings using her faithful mouse and MS Word and other rudimentary drawing programs in the computer. Untrained in the fine arts, she earned her doctorate in Education from the University of Washington (Seattle, 1994). She retired from a lifelong career as a college administrator and instructor in 2000 amd began her career as an illustrator/artist with the encouragement of her husband Ed. Her sons Atto and Sasha and seven grandchildren are her inspiration.
