My Old Friend
by Berto Morfin
08/07/2007So then,
I greet you again...old friend,
never wanting to step in your house again,
I greet you my friend,
To opening doors of fears,
of lies sent in empty tears,
Saying never was the call,
hoping never I should fall,
you enter with that familiar flair,
brighter than light and shouting softly,
who will care,
I ran from you that day,
lit with hope to stay,
to stay away, from you,
from your only way,
We are connected you and me,
but a bond we'll break and you will see,
Strength is my word,
Hope is whats heard,
Running for cover,
out to find a new lover,
a promise is made,
to truth in speach,
never to be replayed,
it's the truth that I shall reach...
