Once upon a time in a dark and gloomy land of music lived five beautiful dolls. Each doll was different in her own way but they all shared the same complaints. Being locked up in attics with no one to play with, but the silly boys who just saw them as pretty little play things. They loved music, and longed to play with other dolls like them. They were sick and tired of playing with the boys, and wanted to teach them a lesson. So they each decided to leave their homes and venture into new and frightening lands.
The first ventured from a land of fire and spice. Alexa Doll came all the way from Colombia well versed in the classical bass and sound of Latin music. A princess among mere porcelain subjects, her crown was confidence and her scepter the Bass Guitar. Although, she loved her land, she knew she had to find the right dolls to play with. So she ventured north.
THe Second was the youngest doll of all. She came from the land of discipline and rhythm. Rikki Doll spent all her young years playing the drums. You could wind her up and she’d play all day long! She marches to the beat of her own drum. But being a lonely doll she had to find the right dolls to play with. So she too left her land to find the other dolls.
The final doll had an idea. She had to bring the lonely dolls to play together. This doll came from the land of sweets and theatrics. Kandi Doll just knew that she wasn’t alone in this world. If she could just write the right songs, the right dolls would come to play with her in the land of music. She spent day and night writing songs, making pretty dresses and candy for her new friends. She knew that her ten years of singing would call the dolls to her. So she waited patiently for the right dolls to play with.
One day when Kandi thought that she’s be stuck singing with the mean, smelly boys for the rest of her life. Alexa Doll and Rikki Doll showed up at her door ready to play with her! So the land of music was once again filled with rock and roll. The dolls had pretty dresses, candy to eat and friends to play with. They knew they could help other dolls be happy too, that they too could be smart, beautiful dolls. That didn’t just have to wait for boys to wind them up. They could finally show the world that they can rock out just as hard as the boys can.
The Dolls are happy. They play about dolls, boys, life, love and loss. And still play together to this day. They are called Dollhaus.
