THIS IS WHAT DRUGS WILL DO TO YOU KIDSThe Reefer Man by Cab Calloway and His Harlem Maniacs
Now, where was I? Oh yeah! As I have had more than my fair share of excitement and hair raising experiences in life I'm now looking forward to a more relaxed and settled future.....Word on the street is I am articulate, intelligent and witty, so I guess I must be (but it may be a load of bull!)...Qualities I attribute to myself? here goes. Faithful, loyal, artistic, well read, tolerant, non-bigoted, cultured with a small c, non judgemental, philosophical, liberal, a pacifist, manly but definitely NOT macho. I've lived and worked in Holland, Spain, Germany, the USA and the Middle East and can get by in a few languages. If I could start over there are a few things I would have done differently but I have no regrets as all of life's experiences have brought me to the here and now, which is a good place to be....."We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time". T S Elliot.

My Interests

I get most enjoyment out of simple things. A well prepared meal, witty, stimulating and intelligent conversation, an early morning walk on the beach in the rain. Oh, and coffee with a piece of space-cake in Rembrandtsplein Amsterdam on a Sunday morning naturally!..ABOVE.. My Daughter Rio and Buster.LEFT.. My Brother in Law Bob Aspromonte. Apparently he is an all time great player of a game called "Baseball?"

I'd like to meet:

Morwena Banks so I can tell her how funny, beautiful and insightful I think she is. On a more practical and personal level, someone who appreciates simple pleasures but still has a lust for life. Not driven by the pursuit of material things, they will still appreciate quality, good design and excellence in all things. A willingness to explore other cultures and philosophies, intelligence, kindness, tolerance and empathy are important to me as well as a love of wide open spaces and fondness for animals. Eco-consciousness and a commitment to the well being of our little planet and all that dwell on it is a given. Sensual, confident and comfortable in her own skin, I take it as read that she will come with some emotional baggage, but its the way she handles it that makes her, well, her! Oh, if she looks like Francoise Hardy, that would be nice (because I am a man!) Peace and contentment to all who read this.
