James Downie aka LTM born 1984, in Rochester, Kent, is a young & aspiring producer of both Melodic & Hard Trance. His first release entitled “London†with Aduro is the result of five years hard graft, learning how to produce using the software Reason.
It all began when James became immersed in the 1999 Trance revolution. His influences are Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten, Vincent De Moor and Lange. These familiar faces of the old school of Trance served to shape his life.
James fast tracked himself through the learning curve of music production via basic knowledge and training at college. A dedicated student of Dance Music, James came through with a Sound Engineering diploma.
During 2002/2004 under the supervision of his tutor John, none other then 1/3 of legendary House act K-Klass, The majority of James’ ideas began to formulate into creative tracks including “Londonâ€. In 2004, James set up a basic pc studio at home, using Reason to produce a diverse range of tunes. James did not have time to promote & market himself due to a burgeoning career in recruitment which proved time critical.
Thanks to the networking capacity of www.myspace.com, a young James’ compositions were listened to and noticed by Adrian at Aduro, who took a shine to “London†and offered James a contract for it to be released.
James’ profound passion for Trance music has been reignited thanks to a brand new studio set up. His head is down; he is focused & driven, working on fresh material. So watch this space!
