I have modeled for sometime and gaining some success in the field I have ventured out taking acting and theatre classes. I posted a small segment of a little short film video from Marsmobil below. In all of this however, my photography is my passion to which I am taking on a couple of assignments in Africa in fight of children's rights, and awareness of world poverty.
I have my photos from a few places I have been most recently posted up on a new page. These are photos from an experience I had connecting with wildlife in Namibia and Botswana. I have one slideshow of Ethiopia & Rwanda when I was there for charity work called Saving a Child's Heart. My latest ventures have been swimming and filming the humpback whale in Tonga, and diving with 16 foot Tiger and Bull sharks (no cage) in Fiji...videos of it are all posted below. I had my first gallery in New york in June of 2007, and plan on having the next one in fall of 2008.About my interests if anyone cares. lolI take much pride in breaking societies habit for stereotyping. To look at someone's surface and discover that the "inner" makes for a completely different person then what you might have thought, often is the way. Using branding or appearance to associate with what is what and who is who usually turns out to be false; now leading the so called enlightened one or "expert" to be the typical person on the bandwagon ...(the stereotyper).
I MEAN, I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE CAN TELL ME ABOUT MYSELF, DON'T YOU? lol ;) (sarcasm)..............................Along with this I like to consider myself someone that evokes people to strive for their full potential. I think we are bombarded my negative ideas about who we are and the work that we do. WHy not be the opposite? If you see something that you feel good about or that inspires you why not tell the person who worked hard to share their gift with you, their light.
What in my LIFE is real...The most important thing above all else is my family. They are my safety net, they are my foundation for who I am, and want to be. Esp. my sister who is my true mentor. My friends are my angels that are blessings from above. They mean the world to me, and because I am always so far from home, I feel adopted by them in a sense.
People find me mysterious and that is okay, but that is because my mix or ingredients that makes who I am is different. It is all my own, and possibly may confuse or frustrate you at first. I can promise you that you will either think I am a mental case or be addicted to me by the time you truly know me. If you hate me then I didn't give you my heart because those that I love, I love forever...and would give to them all I had.
I suppose I can mention a few things that always make me smile.
Sensuality & Passion for the things I love ,My camera & photographs I am inspired to take, Getting so excited to tell about my pictures I take & the magical story behind each one,Music,Millie Vanille,my mac computers,My harley&motorcycles in general,shooting guns,high heels, feeling sexy,old broncos,The Ocean and all the life underneath it, Surfing,Diving, the golden late afternoon light, the wind blowing through my windows in the first stages of fall, wind chimes, writing,poetry,chocolate,extra dirty martinis w/lots of olives,laying on the carpet by the window where the sun made it hot,laughing,funny people,funny movies,scary movies,competing with boys, blood, german art, fat bellies on cats,feeling soft things on my face,big lips,long hair,big eyes,shells,leather,bubble gum,blue raspberry slush puppies,coloring with my niece,collecting furniture from around the world,fire flies,laying at night watching the stars,fires,checking things off lists. I am a taurus so I am stubborn, proud, but Strong, independent,passionate and loyal. The worst thing you could ever do to me is to try and take advantage. I think that for everything in life you should be filled with much gratitude. Anything to be expected is really nothing to be gained.
