Life is a process and so is my work. I like experimenting through creation, my art. My art is my photography. I am working on a website, but for now this will be my substitute.
Just recently I made a trip to Ethiopia, Rwanda and Israel with a org. called "saving a child's heart". I achieved my first Journalist credited photo on the cover of Israel's most read News Paper. I felt excited with this, but not near as excited as I was to see the spirit and vibe that is still thriving in Ethiopia! Traveling and photography are what keeps me dreaming and keeps connected with what is true, real,and most important. Here is a link to a slideshow of those photos

Even more recently I have had my first gallery premier along with Kristian Schmidt. It is my dream and expectation to be able to have more shows in which proceeds go back to the animals that so kindly let me in the world to photograph. The last photo expedition/trip I just finished up was off the coast of Va Va u' , Tonga to film the humpback whale, and Fiji to film tiger and bull sharks. It was in Tonga that I was able to learn many things about our oceans and esp the whales which are even more threatened then I ever could have imagined. From the two very skilled Marine Biologists, base jumper & expeditionist JebCorliss, and Amos Nachoum who is an award winning photographer from National geographic.
I have modeled for some time, which is how I started to travel in the first place. Then shortly after, I started backpacking trips around the world esp. to remote places where I felt more connected to myself and the spiritual vibe of the villages, tribes, animals ect. I have now been engaging in such journeys for 5 years. I have found a happiness that can not be described,however, if you know me...you know my passion and love for what I do. You can see it in my face, and esp. my eyes. I want the world to see the things I have been so blessed to see, and if only one person feels inspired from this or to do this, then it is well worth my time. I wish I could reflect on all my trips, but I can only post so many photos and slideshows. However, this is a little something I wrote from one night in Africa.
My african romance~
My eyes have fallen in love and drip with passion;
for the sky can not glow any brighter or feel any larger.Namibian sunsets in all her fiery glory. This sky is setting for all, yet I feel as though it is only faithful to me. Learning the changes each minute will make on the appearance of the world around me... soon a paint brush dipped in endless shades and colors will illuminate me even more so.
The unity of all creatures seems to exist in this quiet & speechless hour. I Watch the impossible happen ...Zebra, Kudu, even a lion or two drink from the same watering hole hour. The water beamed from the balance of the setting sun vs. the glowing moon...
This is definitely a special time, when the night time hunters arose for their first drink and the last visit was made by the early morning risers; Maybe this quite possibly is the "THE HOUR OF REST" I have heard about with the days of creation.
I Dream under a black Starry canopy, and whisper my dreams to the desert sands, there they will stay until I return.
I hear magical sounds that I haven't heard since sleeping under the stars in Indonesia. Except they are different, these voices, are Voices of Africa. My eyes are closing now for my own rest, with sounds of flamingoes, 10,000 of them, on their annual visit to nyae nyae pan. Tomorrow, while it is still dark, I will perhaps awake to the same cries of a hyena very near by I havelistened to every morning so far.
.
I reflect on my time here so far, and thoughts reel in my mind...remember bathing next to the skin of a black mamba. He felt comfortable leaving it behind, beside me while I slept on the night prior.
I am learning everyday more and more about these majestic creatures of this unknown world. Tracking over 200 elephants making up 5 different families, watching them..... learning their secrets.
And to think just today we drove along the side of two giraffes running and playing, only we were the ones trying to keep up to speed.
No electricity, running water, or artificial sounds. This is surely MY rest hour...
If I had one message to send it would be to tell everyone " to make sure they see this amazing we place we take for granted before it's gone"... to not only see it but, hear it, smell it, feel it; Life is the best gift anyone has been given...so then we must try to not live in it but to LIVE IT.
