Most of Josette Davids original songs have been described as introspective, upbeat, and ethereal. However she is an extremely versatile musician who can perform a hard powerful rock song with ease and enthusiasm to surprise her audience. Josette's powerful and passionate voice has been heard at New York's most sacred haunts. Inspired by artists such as October Project, Sarah McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Tori Amos, Jane Siberry and Melissa Etheridge, Josette has a style all her own. Most of her music is about her own personal experiences, yet her audiences can easily relate to the words and sing along with the upbeat melodies. Josette creates computer based training for a large public accounting firm as her full time career, but somehow manages to find the time to write and perform whenever and wherever possible.Josette Davids has been privileged to collaborate with Michael Leuci whom she has known since attending Saint Anthony’s High school in South Huntington in the early 90’s. Michael is a New York-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and recordist/producer. He has performed many of his songs live in places ranging from local concerts and showcases to the stage of New York City's Mercury Lounge. Weatherside is the original music project of Michael Leuci. Mike maintains a strong interest in studio recording and technology and has amassed numerous recording credits with area artists as a drummer and instrumentalist.Michael’s beautiful guitar and piano stylings are featured on many of Josette’s songs.
