Hey! My name is Brenda and I am in full time ministry with college students. I love working with college students...letting them know there is hope. That even though the world seems futile, or that it's impossible to find a good mate, or whatever, that Jesus is in control...that He loves them, wants what's best for them, and will provide it.
I love to be outside as much as possible, enjoying God's beautiful creation...hiking, biking, camping, or just sitting by a stream. Chocolate is my friend, especially chocolate mousse. I love dogs and look forward to the day I can have one (preferably a large one, like a Husky or a lab) For now, my cat is great company and I enjoy her immensely.
I'm not in the "market" for a boyfriend, but I am flattered by the many asks that come through my myspace e-mail. I love being single, I enjoy the freedom it provides. However, I do believe God has a mate for me, someone that is also sold out to Jesus Christ and that I can serve with in full-time ministy. I look forward to that day (as well as being terrified of it coming!!)

I love to dance for Jesus, it's my favorite form of worship. I wish I were ooper talented at it, like the dancers on SYTYCD, but there are so many other things I want to do, that I can't dedicate the time to just dance to be that good. But in heaven...I will be!
Some of my favorite quotes are:
2 Tim 2:2 "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."
Prepare for the worst, expect the best, take what comes

My Interests

Thanks for stopping by! Please give Kizzy a treat!

adopt your own virtual pet!

..I love Dancing (anything beautiful, like lyrical, jazz, ballet, waltz). And I really enjoy watching "So You Think You Can Dance"

..I also love the outdoors. Sometimes I get so busy working and being indoors that I forget how much I love being outside. I love hiking, camping and just sitting outside on my swing in the sunshine (as long as it's at least 50 degrees. Maybe above 30 degrees once I get used to winter weather again).

..I also enjoy my cat, what a gift from God! I love watching her, playing with her, taking her hiking (yes, I have a weird cat!)

..Also interested in art...sculpting mostly. All kinds of mediums. Rock is the most interesting, but takes a lot of time. Clay is easy, as well as tin foil! :)

..Most of all, interested in God and people. I love helping people, especially discipling college ladies. And I love getting to know God more and more. There is never an end to how much we can know Him. He's really quite amazing, even if I don't always *like* Him very much.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, myself in 10 years, Elisabeth Elliot, Elizabeth Blackwell, Kristen from Design on A Dime, Jay Leno, the cast of Gilmore Girls, the dancers of SYTYCD season 2...especially Allison, Heidi, Travis and Benji; and I'd like to meet other college campus staff workers.

Music:

Christian Rock and Praise and Worship Music, such as Third Day, PFR, dc Talk, Passion Worship Band, Jars of Clay and others
Also 40's & 50's music, (Big Band Baby!) I love Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble' (he's not 50's, but he has that smooth sound!)

and .."The Chronicles of Narnia!".. I can't wait for them to make more! yeah!
