I'm the Mile High City Madman, Baby!!
By Way of New Orleans!!!
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench,
a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free,
and good men die like dogs.
There's also a negative side."
Hunter S. Thompson (1937-2005)

Well, I'm a New Orleans, Louisiana boy in the Mile High City, playing guitar in a rock band and living life to it's fullest.
In addition to my love for music and collecting fascinating and interesting guitars....I am very fond of mountain biking, BBQ'ing...hiking, camping, fishing, anything outdoors in the SUNSHINE!!
I'm married to the greatest lady in the world! "Ryely". She is a Radio DJ with a very sexy voice, my business partner, and the very talented drummer for Denver's "Penny Dreadful"!
Watch as things develop!
I am a multi-timbrel musician: playing guitar, bass, drums, saxaphone, and even some keyboards. I have played as a professional musician for most of my adult life, playing bass guitar in a few good quality rock bands along the way, a couple of them right here on the Denver scene.
I've played guitar and bass all around the French Quarter and Bourbon Street in New Orleans off and on my entire career-span. I was thinking hard about hanging it up, however, as the road has forever been my heartbeat and pulse...and through wisdom we (presumably) learn when it's time to park the bus. But after Ryely asked me to step in as guitarist for "Penny Dreadful" - HOW COULD I REFUSE?? Lol!!
Still, it is the season in my life when I focus my attention on a terrific best-friend and wife - Ryely; And to pursue many changes along the healing road after painfully trudging through tragedy, adversity and some very difficult loss-of-loved-ones to the afterlife this past year.
And all of those trials had come right on the heels of Hurricane Katrina, which displaced many of my close friends. Here we are in 2008, and I'm STILL getting caught up and re-connected with some of them!!
I plan to rekindle an old passion for writing; resume my mixed martial arts training; play a lot more guitar and write some new music and play around in my home recording studio; and with a growing collection of Les Pauls and other "artifact" guitars. I also plan to reconnect with many terrific contacts and friends I've made through the years in hopes that I will continue to play many more stages until alas, I will haunt them!! Hehe!!
