About Me

"It isn't what I do, but how I do it. It isn't what I say, but how I say it, and how I look when I do it and say it."

Currently I'm living with this in mind. "One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

My Interests

I'm definatly interested in music, sports, and good times. I want to learn Spanish.

I'd like to meet:

Females with Mae West attitude, Grace Kelly distinction, and Kathrine Hepburn style.

Males inspired by James Dean's subdued ego, Humphery Bogart's sentimentality and Cary Grant's nonchalance.

Fun people to go out or or stay in with. If you want to know more about me ask. I'm an open book.

Music:

I love music...

As always Dave Mathews holds many memories... but I'm all over the board with music, and I'll never say I like everything. You can often find me surfin the net for new tunes.

Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

My music choices reflect my mood, I don't choose songs lightly.

If you want to change your musical world go to pandora.com.

Movies:

I love classics. Old movies are rad. A few movies I love are...

Dark Passage
Doctor Strange Love
Sunset Blvd.
Prime
Zoolander
This Is Spinal Tap
Last Kiss
An Affair to Remember
Roger Dodger
Charade
Closer
High Fidelity
Death Race 2000
...anything Hitchcock must not be left out.
Pulp Fiction F'n blows my mind every time.

I consider myself an articulate, and educated film critic.

Television:

Lately I've been viewing my tv via the internet, it's what I call on demand for free!
Shows I like (including but not limited to)...
Grey's Anatomy
Sex and the City
Seinfeld
Gilmore Girls
Scrubs
Fraiser
Entourage
Arrested Development
Family Guy
Weeds
Heros
How I Met Your Mother
The Boondocks
30 Rock
Flight of The Conchords
... and so on, if the nation fell in love with it I tried it, if it was a cult hit I saw it first!
The most recent of my obssessions have become Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle, and Cashmere Mofia, because of the strong, self aware women they produce each week. Californication in it's relentless struggle for hope amoung the enlightend unrequite cliches. Pushing Daiseys with it's dark look at a children's book love story. Brothers and Sisters brings a much needed sense of the modern American family to the set.
I could go on and on, but instead of escaping into the world of tv on the internet, I may actually go outside today.
Oh yeah and reality TV can lick the business end of societies social unraveling.

Books:

I like to spend time reading due to it's nature of isolation and intellectual pursuit. Sometimes a girl needs to just be quiet, alone, and learning.

It's worth mentioning that my favorite book is 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie'

Recently I've read, The Alchemist, 100 Years of Solitude, and Jane Eyre.

Currently I'm reading Lolita. Next I will read Bonfire of the Vanities.

Heroes:

John McClane can save me from terrorists any day!

But seriously, my sister, my mom, because they are strong hard working women that don't let life get them down.

Anyone who's making their goals reality, passionate people, strong people, fearless people.
