I'd like to meet:
Jesus because he was a healer not because he supposedly came from "God." I quite like what he said in the bible.
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy,
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God."
How can it be that those who have the most power, wage wars and kill are the same people that claim to be religious and holy? and in the case of President Bush, Christian?
He may claim to be religious but he does not understand what that means. Well.....how much does he really understand. I guess that means I would like to meet Mr. Bush as well. Why not? Maybe I could hang out with him for a day. We'll play some golf, drink some brewskys and talk world politics.
My ancestors, so I could understand a bit more about where I come from and where Im going. I don't feel connected to the short, ephemeral pop cultural that shadows my history, I need more depth. Something sacred.
