Nick Cave... dark and creepy. You're a bi-polar
genius, with equal passion for the most
degrading aspects of humanity, as well as the
beauty & wonder of God and Heaven.
Which fucked-up genius composer are you?

I'd like to meet:

..

Music:

A few favorites that people have actually heard of... John Frusciante, Jimi Hendrix, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Led Zeppelin, Jane's Addiction, Alice In Chains, White Rabbit (The Song), Agent Orange, Billy Holiday, Robert Johnson ( the original,) Elvis, The Cure, Legendary Pink Dots, Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Siouxsie and the Banshees , Queen , The Doors , Pink Floyd, Death in June , The Tear Garden, Rammstein , Eistürzende Neubauten, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets, Depeche Mode. Lords of Acid , Switchblade Symphony , Sex Pistols, Generation X, Billy Idol, Coil, Nick Cave , PJ Harvey, Portishead, Mozart,Campfire Girls, Beethoven, Nina Hagen, Lords of the New Church, The Cult, The Church. I'm Quite Partial to a lot of 80's Music Including Most Metal Genres, Punk and New Wave, More Later...I have more Cd's than anyone could ever lift (True). If I know you and didn't mention your band it's only because I was trying to avoid mentioning anything that might seem like I'm a pompous assed music snob. Pity I've only known one of them that actually had a shred of talent themselves (Brian Maguire/drummer). That reminds me of one of the many musician jokes I know. Why did the drummer join the band? To hang out with musicians... I just returned from a trip to Los Angeles to retrieve a storage room full of belongings which included my vinyl collection (stuff like This Mortal coil)so I'm excited about that (even though an ass load of it was missing - two full crates).

Movies:

Blue Velvet , Delicatessen, The Gift, The River's Edge, My Own Private Idaho, Angels and Insects, Sunset Boulevard, TheCrow, Nasferatu, Koyaanisqatsi, Mulholland Drive, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Seven Year Itch, The Day The Earth Stood Still, Wuthering Heights, Cinema Paradisio, Pedro Aldomovar Films, Liquid Sky, The Cook The Thief His Wife Her Lover, Vampire Hunter D, Soylent Green, Interview With The Vampire, Snatch, Metropolis, Fight Club, 24hr Party People, Suburbia, Harold&Maude, Italian Films with Giancarlo Gianinni, Charlie Chaplin Films, All The Great Horror Movies, Most Period Pieces like Dangerous Liaisons and The Three or Four Musketeers, Johnny Depp and Crispin Glover Movies, Marlon Brando and Clark Gable Films, I like movies that leave me thinking or feeling even if (or especially) it's disturbed.

Television:

I mostly like the good old days of television (TV Land) but I do watch things like the History Channel, A&E's Biography, The Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel, Shows About True Crime, Animal Planet etc... In General, It's Real Easy For Me to Be Unimpressed by Television. Shows like "Friends And Other Such Nonsense Are Def. Off The Table, As Well As Anything On A Regular Basis. Meaning, I'm Not On The Verge Of Flipping Out If I Miss Something On TV And I'm Not Breaking Plans To Watch Paint Dry Because The OC Is Coming On. Fuck that shit.

Books:

Reading is great, don't get me wrong. But what I'd really rather to do is, write something. There isn't much that compares with writing something down that moves another to tears (or a gut wrenching spasm). The sense of accomplishment is much greater to me.

Heroes:

I had some listed here, but decided to delete them. I realized I didn't really have any in the true sense of the word. I admire the accomplishments of a great many people but I worship or idolize no one.
