Like minded people. Revivalists.
I think one of the saddest things is that people let music absorb them so much so that they find their identity by the music they listen to. To me, music is an entertainment, something to pass the time, and it doesn't not have any sway over my identity. I refuse to allow genres such as "punk", "rap", "ska" to pigeon-hole me into a pre-defined "group" of people and that is how I am labeled. Instead, I am just "me". What music do I like? Christian. Whether southern-gospel or rap, contemporary or worship... as long as it's genuine, I like it. That's the only requirement to the music I like.
Dead Poets Society, Schinder's List, Braveheart. Movies that inspire you, make you think. Anything else is just... what's the point? A waste of time.
You only have so many hours alloted to your life here on this earth. How many have been wasted watching television? Better yet how many have I wasted watching television? I do enjoy some shows like House, The Office and NCIS or Criminal Minds. But apart from that most of the television watching consists of informational shows like what you find on the History Channel, the Military Channel, the National Geographic Channel, and Discovery Channel. No I don't own a TV.
The Bible, Why Revival Tarries, the Horatio Hornblower series.
Jesus the Christ, Paul the Apostle, John the Baptist, Jeremiah the Prophet, Leonard Ravenhill.
