First of all, thanks for reading my bio! I don't want to act like it's your duty to know about me, so I really do appreciate it; hopefully sometime I can get to meet you and know you. So let me just get right to it (for a full bio, click the blog above that says 'WARNING! NOT A REGULAR BIO').
I was born in beautiful Asmara, Eritrea. I spent my most formative years in Nairobi, Kenya, and then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. I love my family (they're the best), I have a weird sense of humor, and I love music! There's a lot more to me (including a short attention span), so let's focus on why we're here.
My songs vary in being about love, about life, about me, about you, and the mood and emotions are diverse. Some of my songs are spiritual, others are serious, some are angry, others are happy, some are hopeful, and most are catchy, smooth and cool (hey, thats not arrogance; I could be pretending to be another person writing about me and it would sound ok!). Stylistically, the songs that I am performing now are acoustic, rhythmic, feel-good songs with some rock, reggae, pop, and funk influences. Hey, you just have to hear me and decide for yourself.
