With all the tv I listed, it's a wonder I read, but I managed to (almost) get through a Master's in Literature, James Joyce's Portrait of the Artist as Young Man and Ulysses. I am extremely moved by The Sound and the Fury, Beloved, (anything by Faulkner or Morrison), The Color Purple (Yes, Oprah reads the same books as me... I can't stop her...she's rich). My favorite reading experience in my youth was Farenheit 451.
My parents- for dealing with me, even though they left me in Worcester when I was 18.
