i REALLY like sleeping. i also really like summer in South America.other fun facts: i like talking to people, but not so much on the phone. i have a weird selective memory and can recite the words to random songs that i grew up listening to, but i can't remember anything i learned in high school. also, when i was younger i was obsessed with Slash (circa 88) and WWF wrestling (ultimate warrior/brutus "the barber" beefcake era). and i won't hide the fact that in some lifetime i used to be a candy raver - pacifier, stickers, and all. no glowsticks though. i swear.

My Interests

my primary interests are in the food/beverage realm, such as: dark chocolate covered pretzels and coffee beans, sour candy, candy cigarettes, Difaras pizza, sashimi, seaweed, hot sauces, mac n' cheese, crispy fries, Max lasagna, everything bagels with tofu cream cheese, spicy pickled asparagus or green beans, Acai smoothies, Pisco, mojitos, cheap beer, homebrews, Dumont bloody marys, and of course - wine.favorite flavors: ginger, mint, aji, teriyaki, coffee, lime, sour apple... wait, i'll think of more.

The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Cat Power, The National, M Ward, Stellastarr*, Arcade Fire, YYY, Postal Service, Erlend Oye, Shy Child, Five O'clock Heroes... i could go on and on, but these are just my faves. And pretty much all bad 80's music. And JT. Also, the original Guns n' Roses is really the greatest band of all time.

Old (all-time) faves: Stella, the State, Strangers with Candy, 6 ft. Under, Iron Chef (NOT the american version), and Arrested Development. Now i'm somewhat obsessed with the Wire, LOST and Prison Break, and even though i don't have cable i love the Daily Show and Colbert Report.

Chilean hipsters?

the style here is weird. all the people my cousin hangs out with are like ethnic-style hippies. meaning lots of east asian, peruvian, indian inspired patterns, long flowy skirts/pants, etc....
