I am the natural mother to Ashley, Mina (both adopted) as well as Chris and Gabi(live at home).I decided to organize the Birthmothers of Illinois to help other birthmothers(or as I prefer Natural mothers) get through the issue of adoption.My story isn't very pleasant. However, I am making it through the unpleasant experience and learning from it.I have learned that I can help other moms. I can share their pain and help spare the pain of those who aren't too far gone in their DCFS cases.So,today, I start by initiating the Birthmothers of Illinois chapter of my life.If you or anyone you know has been affected by adoptions good or bad, send them to my page.I look forward to helping as many as I can.
