I'm interested in doing things that are useful and helpful and productive and important... but I do enjoying lying around and doing nowt! I could tell you I'm vegan to make me sound cool, but you already know how great I am otherwise you wouldn't be on my page.
When I've got work to do, I really enjoy playing my penny whistle... and when I've got no work to do... well playing the whistle is good fun then too.
I have an Evil budgie named Hugo who can speak and says 'To me, to you' and 'Hello George' amongst other stupid things. He dances a little too, but very badly (don't tell him I said that.) He's available for private functions...or if you fancy playing budgie tennis just let me know. I'll even provide the rackets.
everyone...right now...in the pub!
Does anyone actually read these bits anymore? Mischief Brew, Mutiny, Collective Responsibility, The Fish Brothers, Culture Shock, Subhumans, Dead Kennedys, The Pogues, Blood or Whiskey, John Cooper Clarke (slow down psycle sluts!) Manu Chao, The Nerve Agents, Meet on the Ledge (but of course), Selwyn Froglet, Goats on Fire (debut album soon please?) are some of the things I listen to and so on and so forth etc etc etc... I play in a band, Anarcho Folko, I welcome groupies in all shapes and sizes.
"Elimy on Nick AM" is possibly one of my favourites. The BBC version of Pride and Prejudice, none of that Kiera Knightley rubbish..and, not necessarily the whole thing, but the bit in Citizen Kane where the cockatoo appears and screeches for no apparent reason, just after the butler says 'like the time his wife left him'. A classic moment in cinema I'm sure you'll agree...if you're Martin...or as odd as we are nowadays
I try not to watch it, although sometimes I do!
I like many books, although wish I hadn't done an English degree... I haven't been able to read for pleasure half as much as I'd like. Writing a dissertation on Dystopian literature has been very interesting... but has made the real world seem considerably more sinister
Larry...you are my hero. I will free you from the attic where my mother insists you stay. Don't give up hope.
