My favorite book of all time is Gifts from the Sea, by Anne Morrow Lindbergh -followed by Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, and Walden Pond. The Great Gatsby, Animal Farm, The Communist Manifesto, 1984, Brave New World, and Crime and Punishment, by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Anne Rand's The Fountain Head and Atlas Shrugged. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Mists of Avalon, All the Harry Potter Books, All the Lemony Snicket Books and All the Chronicles of Narnia. Thinner, by Stephen King. Edgar Alan Poe's work. Realist works, such as Raymond Carver's Cathedral. Works by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Carlos Fuentes (And by other Magical Realists). I especially love works by Romantic writers such as Shelley, Byron, and Blake (Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is a favorite of mine). Bla, bla, bla. Oh! And Fahrenheit 451 is a must.
