Drawing with pen and ink, painting with oils and water colours, tattoos, piercings, other forms of body modification, frolicking in the pouring rain, comics, exploring those paths in the woods no one else can see, mindless staring, video games, fetishes, focused energy, scars, playing with sharp stabbity things, cooking on occasion, writing, more manga than anime, designing my next few tattoos, my cat and default kittens, music, meaningless sex, wandering aimlessly, flea markets, swords, thrift stores, antiques, developing useless talents, colored pencils, coloring books, crossing the lines between fantasy and reality, drowning, looking for zen in unusual places, and tiny little things i can open, hopefully of a jar form. And squirrels. I'm hopelessly interested in squirrels. Frogs, too.
People that recognize the flaws of the society we live in. That realize and utilize the difference between a primal urge, and a conscious choice, and how to control the two. People that realize that just because you're short doesn't mean you have to be angry, crazy, bitter, or and combination thereof.Robots designed to kill and destroy would be good, too.I like smart people, who are prone to ridiculous humor. Artists and musicians, photographers and writers. People that like to dance at shows, and make fun of larpers, kindergoths, and scene kids.As long as we have something in common, chances are, I'll be able to get along with you. I tend not to play well with liars, manipulators, cheats, fakes, the uber trendy and the religious sorts.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Open to pretty much anything on this one. I don't like country, but I can appreciate some of it. I'm good with classical, metal, and alternative. A small sample of my tastes would be: Chris Randall, Screaming Mechanical Brain, Primus, Between the Buried and Me, The Electric Six, Mindless Self Indulgence, Peeping Tom, Sub Dub Micromachine, Crystal Castles, Button*Masher, Sister Machine Gun, Unearth, Otep, The Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, She wants revenge, Placebo, Vision of Disorder, Dresden Dolls, KMFDM, Rammestien, Horse the Band, Collide, the Kidney Theives, Evans Blue, Dog Fashion Disco, Charm Farm, Folly, System of a Down, Flaw, Nick Cave and Devil Driver.
Haven't been watching the movies so much lately. Only so many recycled and stolen ideas can fit into one year. However, I'm fond of the following: Tideland, The Green Butchers, Seven, Igby Goes Down, Sars Wars:Bangcock Zombie Crisis, Party Monster, Taxi Driver, Clerks, Audition, Memento, The Transporter, Gods and Monsters, Bubble Boy, Secretary, Opera, Dodge Ball, Chumscrubber, all the Hellraiser movies (yes, really...*all* of them, except for Hellworld...we'll not talk about Hellworld...), Hard Candy, The Promise, 40 Year Old Virgin, Freak Out, and Requiem for a Dream...
Mostly comedy and horror. I like extremes. Or movies that require thought. Some of those are good too. How about weird? Can we go with I like weird movies?
That's that one box, right? The one that shows moving pictures and a shit-ton of advertisement? Just checking. No, I don't watch it.
I read. A lot. These kids nowadays, what with their movies and video games, don't know what they're missing out on. Check out a few of my favorite authors. It'll do you good. Paulo Coelho, Alan Watts, Neil Gaiman, Cory Doctorow, Warren Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Poppy Z Brite, Alan Moore, Margagret Atwood, Josh Conviser, KJ Parker and Jaqueline Carey. Oh, let's not forget Max Brooks. How else would we survive the inevitable zombies?
No heroes here, although George Carlin came close.
