About Me

I don't believe in anything. Every thought, feeling, and experience you've ever had is the result of a chemical reaction. I've had enough dreams and done enough acid to know that the difference between the real and imagined is negligible. We're all hardwired into a genetic survival mechanism. Life seems precious because we are alive. We recognize patterns and see meaning everywhere because we have constructed the concept of patterns and meaning. It's a self fulfilling prophecy, and a self propagating illusion.
However, just because I know that the warm feeling of epic splendor that watching a sunset over the desert mountains gives me is merely the organ in my skull releasing certain hormones-it does not mean that I do not enjoy this feeling. I may know full well that when I look at your face, all that's really there is meat-and my perception, but that familiar perception seems as real as anything despite my knowledge of it's origin.
This is not sad. This is not bad. This is good. To tear the artificial meaning away from this organic viral shit pile and live life completely free of preconceived notions is the only way to truly understand the human experience. My existence is so much more full and passionate for knowing the truth. In a way no blind sheep could ever comprehend.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My maker.

My Blog

Keyboard extravaganza.

I got my big M-Audio 88 key hammer action midi controller today.  I took a picture of it-it's the one on the lower part of the stand below my KORG X-50.  It weighs a ton, and it's a controller so no ...

The Garage Stays Open

The Garage in peril.

To be honest, The Garage is the only thing I've ever been involved with that has been good and pure.  I can be a dirty, cruel, selfish asshole sometimes, and I am fine with that.  "I wasn't wrong, and...

Bible Camp.

As you may know, one of my big philosophies is that there is no inherent meaning.  It doesn't mean anything that we are here, it doesn't mean anything when you almost get in a car accident and then do...

The long walk across the street

I don't think I was ever in the room with you.  The room you never leave and take for granted.  The room you believe that there is nothing beyond, except for what the TV inside it shows you.No, I was ...

Death and Tragedy?

I once said "It's not a tragedy when old people die".  Now that I am older I've realized, it's not a tragedy when anyone dies.  Millions of people die every day and millions are born to replace them. ...

Twitter. Yes.

ReverendJohn is now on Twitter.  Is it because Reznor does it?  Pretty likely.  Would I jump off a bridge?  Yes mother, but only if him and Patton did it first.  Together, while holding hands.

Back from tour. A little older and wiser.

I have returned to the land of the ice and snow.  I feel right at home in the cold, as much as I hate it.  It helps me nurse the constant vortex of frustration that never stops swirling.  It ebbs and ...
