TRENDS BIO:
As a product of a musician father, Trends started scribing and spitting rhymes in the mid-90s. Around that time, Trends formed a group with his step-brother as his introduction into the music world, known originally as Ballistic Vocab and later as Intellect-n-Trends. Their official debut came out on Itakks Entertainment in 1999 with the singles “Let’s Get It On†and “Who You Be.â€, which sold 5000 copies and was spinning on college radio. A brief hiatus would be taken and Trends would go solo, but since 2002 Trends has been back on the scene. He currently has his debut album out, “This Is Not My Worldâ€, which is getting rave reviews and is almost out of print. The follow up was a compilation cd he did with his crew " Itakks" called Itakks Mixtape Vol 1 witch is also out of print but since there was such a demand for it has been posted on his website www.itakks.com for download for Free as a thank you to his fans for supporting his music. Trends followed up Vol 1 with “Itakks Mixtape, Vol. 2†which features his crew and also hip hop Pioneers Grand Master Caz and Melle Mel . Trends has shared the stage with great artist such as Dead Prez, Immortal Technique, Substantial, Pack FM, Many Styles, Non-Phixion, Wayne Wonder, Elephant Man, Amanda Diva, Dana Dane, Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Caz, Busy Bee, Melle Mel, Louis Logic, Poisen Pen, and Pitch Black, just to name a few. Trends also host a cable access Hip Hop show called "Show Off" and has interviewed artist such as Buckshot, G-dep, Jin, Skyzoo, Dana Dane, Dj Red Alert, Dj Sicamore, and Q-Unique. Trends is not only a rap artist but also a model and actor and has appeared in numerous magazines such as Blender, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Source, People and Paper and appeared on major TV networks such as Abc Family Network, MTV, WB, UPN, "N" channel and has also done background and production work on movies working along actors and actresses such as Elijah Wood, Rosario Dawson, Chris Klein, and Levar Burton. Trends is the best kept secret in the entertainment industry, but the world can’t keep someone like Trends a secret for too long. ......
