About Me

If diversity were to open a funky American club, love would be the doorman, enlightenment would be the bartender and Mitch Budd would provide the music. Drawing on elements of rock, funk, blues, jazz, folk, and pop, Mitch Budds acoustic grooves guide you to spiritual bliss. As a singer/songwriter and guitarist, Mitch Budd has been performing in San Diego for over eight years. New to the LA scene, Mitch has proven himself to be a magnetic solo performer with spine tingling vocal talent. His exceptional songwriting has lured some of the best musicians in Southern California to accompany him.Mitch Budd has prevailed over the San Diego scene due to his dedication and love of writing, arranging, and performing. With a vast library of original music, Mitch can cater to any crowd and set the mood at any venue. Theres PaperThin and Caterpillar- euphoric and groovy; Turn You Out and State of Mind- jam-style funk rock; Angel Love and Smile spreading the message of unconditional love; Try and American Boy guide the soul to self-awareness; Tulips and Ooh Wee squeeze the lust out of love; and Heart of Gold and Ill See You Around release love lost.Currently in the studio recording the follow-up cd to his 2004 debut State of Mind, Mitch Budd is immersing himself in all areas of the music industry.
