My third eye has glaucoma

About Me

From the desert sand of West Texas/Southern New Mexico to the dusty hills of Los Angeles, the ocean called and I answered. Oddly, I can't swim. But before I called LA home, I came out, received a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in radio, and became active in the LGBT movement.

After a period of settling into LA life and a steady paycheck, I worked at several civil rights non-profits, volunteered with an LGBT radio program (IMRU) and have since moved into doing radio full-time.... and for pay!

My radio job brought me to The Big Apple where I try to keep warm by putting socks on my hands and drinking from a flask.

I go back to El Paso periodically to eat Chico's tacos and see the 14 shades of brown in the landscape.

Oddball facts about me:

I hate washing dishes.

I prefer hair styles that require very, very little work.

I have two tattoos but want more.

I'm a sucker for a Patron margarita.

I have my very own clumsy fairy. She likes to show up when there are open drinks around. My clumsy fairy has now started to follow Maya around.

...Are you a fan? Hmmm? Go here to add yourself, no pressure.
