In the African American community this has become a problem that is in much need of attention. In searching for ways to address this problem we at blue diamond feels the most successful way to do this is through a form of entertainment. As we know America is the entertainment capitol of the world, and contrary to popular belief entertainment, whether it is theatrical or musical has a large impact on our children. We here at blue diamond has searched and found a way that we believe will cover both aspects and be a huge success in addressing this problem in the African American community. We have done this in the form of a broad-way play entitled “little diva,” written by Anthony Chislom. This creation by Mr. Chislom has been held as the African American equivalent to the successful Broadway play "Annie." This play will bring young African American children and their families to the theatre by the thousands.
