Thank you for steppin into "The tobyMac Freaks", Our fansite for one of the biggest artists in Christian Music - TobyMac!!!
I made this fansite to keep you guys as up to date as possible on the things happening with TobyMac. I've also included a couple things for you guys to use on your myspaces, including banners, contact tables, layouts, and Aim Icons(coming soon).
We are Christians, So We'd appreciate a Christ-like atmosphere; Including you guys not sending us gossipy, vulgar, or nasty comments or emails. If you do the comments WILL BE deleted, and we won't respond. We do answer most emails, when we do get a chance, and we will answer your questions if we know the answer to them. There is a tobyMac Prayer site where you can go to pray for the band and see current prayer requests from the band. (they are in our top friends). If you have prayer requests or need to talk we are also here for you guys!!
We do not work for the band, or for Gotee or Forefront Records or EMI.
We are not not TobyMac...and we do not know TobyMac personally.
I (CHRIS) am a huge fan of Toby. (have been since 1990, yes the dc talk days :)) I support everything he does and I pray God keeps blessing him in his career and his family. oh yes.. and keep the I wish DC Talk were back together comments to a minimum! :)
Sara is new at this whole fansite thing and she's taking over for me and helping me out as my time is consumed with doing a Family Force 5 fansite and being in school. If something isn't going right on this site it is not because we don't care it is because she wasn't sure what to do. Please give her some slack and be gentle. We are not trying to make enemy's here it'll take some time to bring this site up to par.
We'll keep building up this fansite as I go along!

tobyMac to Perform for the Pope at New York Youth Rally Marking his third performance at an event with a Pope, tobyMac has been confirmed as a performer at a Youth Rally on April 19th at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, NY which will be presided over by Pope Benedict XVI. DC Talk performed at such rallies in Denver (1993) and St. Louis (1999), both of which were presided over by the late Pope John Paul II. The 2008 rally’s purpose is to encourage youth to seek vocations within the church.On his innaugurral visit to the United States, Pope Benedict XVI is attending open-air masses in both Washington D.C. and New York City, and delivering an address to the United Nations and visit to the World Trade Center site.

In true tobyMac fashion, the word is out and buzzing about the upcoming February 20th studio release Portable Sounds, which has already produced a hit with the first single Made to Love. It is currently no. 5 in Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and no. 2 on Radio & Records Christian CHR National Airplay chart.
