Influences: We are influenced by the sheer magnitude of the common belief that we can change the world of music to be in the favor of artists and free it of the corporate fat that has controlled it during the first 60 years. We as a world wide organization are tasked and governed to support artists having an equal opportunity to promote and distribute their music to any and all that wish to discover and purchase it. We are influenced by the idea artists do not need million dollar promotion budgets or to pay to be on shelves in major big-box outlet stores. We stand for people like our moms to be able to find new music that sounds familiar to other things they like without it having to be of the majorly produced cookie-cutter forcibly-fed "variety" via said million dollar promotion budgets. We stand for the artist to take the lions share of the percentage of revenue from their one main physical product/offering -- their recorded music. We believe, for once, in the history of recorded music - artists can make a living off of recorded music. This was never a thought at anytime ever in the definition of what has become known as the "music business". We believe the time has come and the opportunity is now to make this happen. Join us.
