Kenya DuBois

Kenya DuBois is an Acoustic Ecologist and Producer that cultivates ambient tones and beats into compositions that often feature the elements of our sonic environment and phonography. Recognized as one of the top Ambient DJs in the country, Kenya has played gigs with some of the biggest names in electronic music. In addition to being a founding partner of the Electronic Music Foundation Institute, Kenya is the founder of Adore Recordings and half of the collaborations, Happy Brown and the token black experience and Popularity Contest Committee . Currently living in Portland, Oregon, he enjoys Aikido, sailing, Urban Design, cloud watching and is a seeker of the Baha’i Faith. Kenya is determined to be a pioneer in merging Acoustic Ecology and Urban Planning. His efforts will preserve and enhance our sonic environment and racially diversify these disciplines. Kenya DuBois is an Ambassador of the atmospheric state of mind.
