but the Bay area has a conscious movement that is too often overshadowed.
Trust folks, after bumpin the new cd from "W.A.R." you'll be assured with no
doubt that there is a revolution by the bay. The cd entitled "It's Time" is a 19
song gem of beats, rhymes and vocals that flow smoothly from one track to the next. This act, based in Oakland on the Power Surge label, has been around the Bay area Hip Hop scene for well over a decade, catching the main
stream commercial blues, that affect most conscious artist in America. Well,
it might be time for change! This cd should be a coming out party for the
conscious movement in Hip Hop! Waheed And the Resistance do more than
