THE BLUES NEVER FELT SO GOOD !!

About Me

For years I practiced 3 hours a day. Then I had to sell my guitar and amp 12 years ago cause I was married to a spend-a-holic. For the next 12 years I didn't play a note. I did dump her but I should've kept my gear. Well I did find a beautiful, amazing woman who I recently married. And my son David gave me a Les Paul at the end of January 2008. I am having a blast playing again even though I've lost so much speed and technique and can't seem to remember the patterns I use to use for solos. I now pick up the guitar twice a week and record. I don't have time to practice and I REALLY need to. I feel like I'm starting all over again which really is frustrating when I hear something in my head, while soloing, but I can't play it anymore. These songs are what I've recorded since February 2008 as raw and unpolished as they may be. An AWESOME woman and an AWESOME guitar....man it just doesn't get any better than that!******************************************************* ************ I use a Les Paul, MOZE handmade acoustic guitar, Mogami cables, BOSS metal zone mt-2 pedal, LINE 6 Pocket Pod, D'Addario XL nickel wound regular light gauge strings EXL110's, SONY F-K60H mic, I record digitally into the computer using AUDACITY. I use pre-recorded backing tracks or I create my own using a combination of Audacity, Reaper, Virtual DJ Pro, Acoustica Mixcraft 4 and Acid. I then edit the song with Polderbits sound recorder and editor. I convert it to mp3 with Audacity, Acid or Freerip 2.6. ************************************************************ **** Hey check out all those on my friend's list. You'll find some of the world's BEST musicians there.
