My name is Jack Wilson.Most folks call me "Blind" Jack though 'cause I'm "Blind"I was born in Swine Holler Arkansas in 1950.My daddy "Deaf" Jake Wilson taught me how to play guitar when I was 9 years old.I went to reform school when I was 10 for pushing my wimpy 2nd cousin Ron down a well.While I was in the reformatory I honed my guitar skills to perfection & when I got out 3 years later I hit the road.
For the next few years I traveled all over the country & played guitar for some of the greats.Johnny Cash,Chuck Berry,Elvis,Moms Mabley,Mitch Ryder,Willy Nelson,Nervous Norvis,The Big Bopper,Tiny Tim,Frank Sinatra(he was an asshole),B.B. King,Freddie King,Albert King,Rodney King,Eddie Fisher,Burl Ives,Pete Seeger,and Buddy Miles just to name a few.I was also musical director for many of the biggest bands back in the day.Jefferson Airplane,Grateful Dead,The Hollies,Buffalo Springfield,The 13th Floor Elevators,Dave Clark Five,The Zombies,and many others.
Fame & fortune got the best of me and I fell on hard times in the early 70's though and I went into seclusion.Well--not seclusion exactly--what I did is I went to prison for a few years.About 25 years if I recall correctly.Anyway--my point is I'm back now and ready to take the musical world by storm again!!Look out musical world!!!
