I used to run SickAmongthePure.com, an online e-zine devoted to industrial/EBM/synthpop that published monthly and at it's peak, quite frankly, kicked some ass. It grew to Frankenstein size, though, and became too much to operate on top of my day job. I still own the domain, and secretly hope to revive it one day...soon?
To keep my fingers in the musical pot, I write freelance reviews and interviews for various print and online rags, and want to get into the promotional end of things, if only to get more bloody shows to Vancouver!
I'm originally from the West but I've moved a lot over the past decade. I've spent several years in Ottawa, the Cayman Islands, Calgary, Jasper...I like to travel and move around. Now my arse is parked in Vancouver.
This sounds far too bloody serious - one shouldn't take these things too seriously, methinks. I just wanna kick it and have some fun...that's generally easier to do with someone rather than without.
