Violent Entity was formed in the summer of 2002 as a Solo act by Damien Drullinger in Sacramento California and in the winter of 2002 VE relocated to Seattle Wa were upon moving meet Karloz of Manfactura and quickly clicking became good friends and worked on the first full length VE album. In the summer of 2003 Violent Entity was discovered by Gerald owner of Black Rain Records based in Germany and this being thanks to Kay of Supreme Court who was doing a remix at the time. So in October of 04 the album "Mechanized Division" was realsed and soon after making album sells across Europe,States,Mexico and south America as well as appearing in many magazines like the well known German magazines Zillo and Orkus! VE has had the privilege of Playing WGT in Leipzig shareing the stage with Label mated Feindflug,Tacktical Sekt and others.WGT is one of the world famous festivals in the EBM/Electro scene as well as playing clubs such as Das Bunker in LA and QXTs in New Jersey. After 4 years fo moving and relacting to many city's such as Seattle,Philadelphia,Chicago and LA and settling in Sacramento CA,Violent Entity is realsed some new material. So expect some new hard hitting base lines and Beats and Harsh vocals for your ears to come.TO BE COUNTUED!
Violent Entity wurde im Winter 2002 aus Liebe zum Dark-Harsh-EBM/Electro gegründet. Trotz seiner Eigenständigkeit besitzt der Sound dieses Projekts auf der einen Seite Elemente des Oldschool-EBM in Form von gesanglicher Härte und treibenden Beats. Auf der anderen Seite spielen aber auch Einflüsse von Dark Electro ein.Im Winter 2003 traf Damien, Kopf und Stimme von Violent Entity, Karloz von Manufactura in Seattle, welcher einen ähnlichen Sound präsentiert. Dieser half bei den ersten Schritten und nach kurzer Zeit begann die Arbeit zu Violent Entitys erstem Album. Es dauerte nicht lange bis Violent Entity bei einem der größten Labels der Szene unterkam: BLACKRAIN, die neben Szenegrößen wie Feindflug, Supreme Court und Tyske Ludder auch mit dem Sub-Label Noitekk nicht weniger bekannte Bands wie Tactical Sekt, Psyclon Nine, Die Sektor, Life Cried und Dawn of Ashes betreuen.Der in Kalifornien lebende kreative Kopf des Projekts stand bereits vielerorts in den Vereinigten Staaten auf der Bühne und ist auch über die Grenzen der USA bekannt. In Europa war Violent Entity erstmals zu Gast auf dem Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, zu dem jährlich über 20000 Fans der Szene aus aller Welt anreisen.Violent Entity gab zahlreiche Interviews, z.B. verschiedenen Magazinen wie Orkus, Zillo, Side-Line und Orphueus. Tracks seines Albums wurden auf sieben Compilations, u.a. Dark Awakening, veröffentlicht.Nach 2 langen Jahren ist Violent Entity nun zurück im Studio zusammen mit Karloz von Manufaktura, der im tatkräftig zur Seite steht. Auf die neuen Produktionen darf man gespannt sein!
