About Me

Formed in 2003, Mass Extinction play intense, intricate Thrash Metal.
Since starting on the gigging circuit Mass Extinction have been fortunate enough to support some of their major influences: Exodus, Destruction, Sodom, Onslaught and Nuclear Assault as well as sharing the stage with international acts such as Pungent Stench, G.B.H., Screamin Daemon and Slough Feg.
In 2007 they played alongside numerous well known International acts at the prestigious Way of Darkness festival in Germany, the undisputed home of metal. In August 2007 the band also headlined one of Ireland’s biggest Metal Festivals “Whiplash” in Sligo.2008 will see the band play many more international gigs with numerous dates planned around Europe and a new album
