About Me

Treble - www.treblezine.com - is a San Diego based music 'zine focusing on today's best new music. We update daily with new reviews of underground music, and any mainstream releases worth mentioning. We also feature a twice-weekly Album of the Week feature, which highlights the absolute Best of the Best of what's new. We also run columns regularly, like Best Song Ever, The Finer Things in Life, Truly Great, I Sing the Body Electric and Transatlantic Underground. We also feature regular articles, such as interviews, Best of Year/Decade lists, mixtape projects, cultural essays and more. It's the best webzine out there. We mean that. That address again:www.treblezine.com

My Interests

Music and the intelligent discourse on said music, creative expression in various forms, love, pancakes.

I'd like to meet:

People who dig rock 'n' roll. A veritable who's whom (or "Who's that?") of the entertainment industry. Fitness celebrity John Basedow.

Music:

Some favorites as of late: Okkervil River, Aesop Rock, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, El-P, Of Montreal, Menomena, Feist, The Twilight Sad, Fujiya & Miyagi, LCD Soundsystem, Slaraffenland, Kanye West, Panda Bear, Akron/Family, The National, Justice, Sunset Rubdown, Ryan Adams, !!!, Les Savy Fav, M.I.A., and so many more we can't possibly name them all in this limited space.

Movies:

The TV edit of Die Hard 2 that finds Bruce Willis hollering "Yipee-ki-yi-yay Mister Falcon"

Television:

The greatest guitar hero band of all time, perhaps? Or, if followed by "Personalities" the best lo-fi indie pop group to exist before there was such a thing. Geekiness, my friends, geekiness!

Heroes:

We could be...just for one day.
