I started djing in Gainesville , Florida in 1997 . I played alot of free gig's and lived mostly off of my mixed tape sale's . I used to sell them in record shop's like Painted Puppy in Tampa , Funky Groove in Crystal River , and a couple of local shop's in Gainesville would help me out . By 1999 I played on Kiss 105.3 with the host SuperFly Jeff ( for a special one night perfomance ) , and was a resident dj for Bubba the Love Sponge at his Crystal River night club (Planet Bubba's) . I played all of his late night rave event's . I also played at alot of different night club's in Gainesville , and was asked to be on Kiss 105.3 again as one of Gainesville's finest dj's show . Out of the 70+ dj's they had that year they brought me back along with dj Debbie D (Juice Record's) , and Chris Galleger ! During that period I had alot of fun and played with some talented guy's like The Space Men , SuperStar dj Keoki , and Huda Hudia ! During that period I played as dj infinity , but there was another guy named Infiniti out of the Maimi area , so I changed my name to dj illiswillis . Since then I've played with alot of talented guy's as well ( dj X , Rick West , Rob Analyze , Santana , and alot of other great dj's I hope I didn't miss . My heart lie's in the techno = old skool break's . I have learned to mix hip hop , and classic rock all together , with my residency at Stingray's Nightclub in Crystal River . I was there for the first year they opened and had alot of fun .I also played live every Friday + Saturday night on a local radio station wow 104.3 . They would broadcast live from the nightclub . Now the future of my career for 2007 will consist alot of focusing on creating my own beat's , as well as playing in some club's!
