Music:

Don't underestimate my musical tastes. I have a penchant for Incubus, Bikini Kill, Korn, Sia, Lunachix, Etta James, Miles Davis, Chopin, Beethoven, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Lily Allen, Rammstein, Gnarls Barkley...it all depends on my mood.

Movies:

I'm an eclectic girl when it comes to movies. Some Like It Hot, Goonies, Princess Bride, Anchorman, Saw, Hostel, Bring It On, Tombstone, Viva Las Vegas, Rear Window, Remember the Titans....usually, the cornier the better.I don't normally watch romantic movies. I'd rather watch violent action films than something that makes me want to rip my own heart out. (I make an exception for films based on Jane Austen. I don't know why.)I also seem to be a cynical romantic, and despise happy endings. Yet one of my new favorites is "Enchanted".....I think it's because of the ending. Go figure.

Television:

I have no cable and *hate* having to wait for a specific time to watch my shows, so I like Deadwood, Sopranos, Oz and Quantum Leap (I am a sci-fi geek) reruns on DVD.I also LOOOOVE Heroes, Chuck and laughing at stupid reality shows. (Girlicious is a current favorite....) Pushing Daisies is something I tried to catch online....not sure if it's on anymore?

Books:

1776, My Friend Leonard, Emma, Atlas Shrugged, The Bell Jar, Pride & Prejudice, Love in the Time of Cholera....I read cookbooks like they're novels. I like the French one by Julia Child, and my Tom Douglas books. :)

Heroes:

My derby wives...Shannon (my Vegas "showgirl")...Marilyn Monroe...anyone who knows what they want and goes after it. Like me :)I LOVE MY JCRG DERBY GIRLS!
