I would like to meet a wizard, a financial advisor and someone who owns a boat in the Puget Sound area.
Everything. From sappy-assed to death metal, it's all on my ipod.
I like anything that will entertain me. Sometimes that means a super hero is in it, sometimes not. Sometimes it means it is a cinematic classic, sometimes not. Sometimes there is love and gushy things, sometimes blood and guts and terror. It really all depends upon my mood, which changes far too frequently to provide an accurate list.
Now that HBO has effectively cancelled everything that I was even remotely interested in, I watch only the Food Network.
Generally, I don't like wasting my time reading unsubstantial bullshit… which doesn't mean that I don't do it from time to time. I like books that stick with me, challenge the way I think, what I believe in or the way I see the world. I like books that make me laugh so hard I almost pee myself. I like books that make me scared to walk down the hall if the light isn't on. I like books that take me to a place I've never been or books that remind me of a place that feels like home.
Also, a word of advice...if you ever give me a Harlequin Romance or a Tech Spec “Your Software and You†kind of book, you’re dead to me.
My mother is my hero. As is any human who has been through it all and can rise above it and continue to think each and every day is a gift.
